REGISTRATIONS FOR 2026 DANCE CLASSES ARE OPEN!
Our Junior Classes are designed for children aged 7–8 years who are ready to build on their dance foundations and further develop their skills in a fun, structured, and encouraging environment.
At this level, all styles are taught in 45-minute classes, allowing students more time to focus on technique, coordination, and performance quality as they grow in confidence and ability.
Junior students continue to develop strong foundations in:
• Ballet • Jazz • Tap • Lyrical • Hip Hop & • Acrobatics
Classes focus on improving technique, strength, flexibility, musicality, and coordination while encouraging self-expression and confidence.
Lyrical – New at Junior Level
At the Junior level, we proudly introduce our students to the beautiful Lyrical style.
Lrycial blends elements of ballet and jazz to create expressive, fluid movement that tells a story through dance.

Our popular Junior Classes include:
Ballet/Jazz/Tap
In Ballet we focus on positions of the arms and feet and correct postural stance. Grade 1/Grade 2 Levels are taught. In Jazz we build upon our classical foundations set in ballet. We focus on stretch and strengthening work to develop a well rounded Jazz style. Our Tap classes focus on technique, rhythm and coordination.
Lyrical
This class focuses on musicality, emotion and connection to the music while developing strong technique, control and flexibility. Students learn how to use movement to express feeling, build performance quality and develop artistry, making lyrical a beautiful and powerful style for dancers to explore.
Hip Hop/Acrobatics
In Hip Hop we focus on strength in our movement, isolation of body parts and coordination. Acrobatics teaches basic tumbling skills like cartwheels, handstands, back bends and flexibility.
Musical Theatre
This exciting class includes a vocal component and introduces students to the world of musical theatre performance, combining singing, acting and dance. Taught by industry professionals, Musical Theatre classes encourage creativity, stage presence and storytelling while building confidence both on and off the stage.
Additional Classes
Team LWSOD
Classes concentrate on learning and rehearsing routines for competing.
Private Lessons
Available for students wishing to learn solos for competing or wish to focus on a particular technique to help them improve their dancing.
